 WABBAQUASET RULES & REGULATIONS

     The Wabbaquasset Tribal Council adopts the following regulation to govern tribal membership procedure. Were as the Wabbaquasset tribal council will establish an office of genealogy to perform the research an applications for membership and maintain the results of such research. The Wabbaquasset band of Nipmucs, Requires the Genealogy committee to notify applicants of the final determination of their appications. Where as the genealogy committiee is responsible for determining whether an individual meets the requirements for membership in the Wabbaquasset band of Nipmuncs. Be it enacted by the tribal council of the Wabbaquasset band of Nipmucs that the office of genealogy and the appointede tribal genealogist shall

  1. Carry out all responsibilites enumbered in the Wabaquasset constitution in a timeley ands efficient manner.

  2. Provide the genealogy committee with an unbiased and objective report of the evidence regardin an individuals membership in the Wabbaquasset band of Nipmucs

  3. Upon the request of the genealogy committee, provide the genealogy committee with supplemental research and data regarding the background and lineage of any member of the Wabbaquasset band of Nipmucs or applicant for membership in the tribe.

Accept and implement the recommendations of the genealogy committee regarding the membershipof individuals in the Wabbaquasset band of Nipmucs.

 

     

      The Wabbaquesset band of Nipmucs is in the process of updating the list of all descendants as of Oct. 1, 2013 if you wish to be a member contact me at Hatchetpond@yahoo.com or call me at (508) 8923296 and i will send you forms for you genealogy and ancestry charts also individual birth certificates must be sent, individual history charts are the basic documents the tribe will need with the birth certificates.
